The In-Country/In-Region scholarship programme is designed to support the training of future professionals and managerial staff in developing countries, with a focus on university teachers. It provides scholarships for both postgraduate and doctoral studies at universities within the participant’s home country or at distinguished institutions in the region.

For Palestinian universities, the programme specifically supports postgraduate studies only. Each university is invited to apply, and can submit applications for up to three departments. Each department may propose up to four Master’s programmes that should focus on areas relevant to development policy.
